Fall Canyon View Park Bride & Groom Session with Jenna & Frank
The Fall Canyon View Park Bride & Groom Session with Jenna & Frank did not start in Canyon View Park. We started in Big Springs park, which was amazing by itself, but I had recently scouted out Canyon View Park and found it was also a beautiful shoot location, and was near Big Springs Park, so we tried it out.
I had driven by Canyon View Park many times on my way to other locations, but until I saw it in the Fall, I had never stopped there. I was surprised to see how beautiful it was! Long winding trails make their way through birch and maple leaf trees. The Provo river runs through this area and there are many old and new bridges crossing the river.
I found a beautiful spot near the edge of the river where the fall colored trees lined the banks, and it made the perfect spot to start shooting. We also found many unusual rock formations to use in the background as well as snow capped mountains in the distance.
The only thing I did not like about the area was the large number of fallen trees and scrub brush in the canyon. There were some places where the background looked great, but the foreground was full of dead trees.
But for the most part it was a beautiful and easy place to do a photo shoot. The best part was at the end when the sky turned pink and whit puffy clouds moved in to fill up the sky.
Jenna and Frank were great to work with and we got some really beautiful pictures at both locations.
