As Utah Wedding Photographers, we are always searching for beautiful locations that showcase Utah's incredible landscapes. One of those hidden gems is Soldiers Pass, and Chantel & Zack's bride and groom session was one for the books.

When we first arrived at Soldiers Pass, the weather wasn't exactly cooperating. Powerful winds were sweeping across the mountain ridge, making it difficult to stand still and causing Chantel's dress and hair to blow in every direction. For a while, it looked like we might have to cancel the photoshoot altogether. Thankfully, we decided to wait it out.

As the evening continued, the wind began to calm just enough for us to explore the area and capture some incredible images. The patience paid off in a big way.

Incredible Views Overlooking Utah Lake

One of the reasons Soldiers Pass is such an amazing location is the breathtaking scenery. Throughout the photoshoot, we were positioned on a hilltop overlooking Utah Lake and the surrounding valleys. The elevated viewpoint provided endless panoramic views that stretched for miles in every direction.

The combination of rolling hills, distant mountains, and the sparkling waters of Utah Lake created a dramatic backdrop that perfectly complemented Chantel and Zack's photos. A First Look Zack Will Never Forget

While the scenery was incredible, one of the highlights of the day had nothing to do with the landscape.

Before the official first look, Zack was anxiously waiting to see Chantel for the first time. However, his sister had other plans.

As Zack stood with his back turned, expecting to see his beautiful bride, his sister quietly approached wearing a full gorilla mask. When Zack finally turned around, the look of complete confusion on his face was absolutely priceless.

Everyone burst into laughter, and it instantly became one of the most memorable moments of the entire day. It was the perfect way to break the tension and create some genuine smiles before the real first look with Chantel.

Once Zack finally saw Chantel, the emotions quickly shifted from laughter to excitement as the two shared a sweet and heartfelt moment together.
