I have shot here many times before, but today we went even higher up. Maggie & Landon’s Summer Tibble Fork Bridals were shot mostly at the horse trailer turnaround point at Tibble Fork Reservoir. At this time of year, you still have to walk here, which is about a 15 minute walk up the road, but well worth the view!
Maggie and Landon were a more reserved, quiet couple. Very nice, very polite, just not super outgoing. So, for their adventure, I chose to take them even higher up the mountain away from other people so they could just be themselves.
Many people may not know this, but I put a lot of thought into where I do photo sessions for different types of people. It’s great if I get a chance to do engagements, because by the time I’m done, I know where to suggest bride & groom pictures, and Tibble fork, the upper area, was their spot. But I did not shoot their engagements, but by conversations with the couple prior to the shoot, I thought Tibble fork would be a great spot for them.
We ended up shooting all over Tibble Fork, just to get variety, but my favorite pictures were from the upper shoot locations. I loved working with Maggie and Landon, and I look forward to shooting their wedding.
