When I shot the Winter Bride & Groom Session with Breanne & Riley, I could tell right away these two were in love, and really excited about getting married. You really can tell when two people are in love. It's the way they look at each other. The way they complement each other. The way they treat each other.
Breanne & Riley are a really nice couple and I loved working with them. It was pretty cold afternoon up at Sundance today and a bit of a hike up to the top of the mountain, but both were excited to go and neither complained at all. Breanne did not exactly have hiking shoes on, so we had to take it easy.
It was a beautiful day at Sundance. The wind was calm, and the sky had scattered clouds, just enough to diffuse the light. Lucky for us we just missed a storm the week earlier, and another one coming in this week. Well, we actually planned it that way, but we were lucky to have found a time in between where the weather was perfect. Last week I shot a bride & groom session in a snow storm, and though it was fun, it was really difficult and cold.
Brennan's Dress looked amazing! But it was not a cold weather dress, so we had a blanket that we took on and off of her throughout the shoot.
At the end of the shoot we did a few shots of Breanne & Riley walking through a snowy field. I told them to just be themselves, no posing. I loved those shots!
