Tava & William's Tibble Fork Bride & Groom Session was one of those sessions I will never forget. It was slightly windy, and a little cold, but the lake was such a beautiful color and the sky slightly cloudy getting rid of any possibility of bad shadows. In a word, it was perfect!.
I have shot many sessions at Tibble Fork reservoir. Most of the time, on any given day, there are 10+ photographers there taking pictures of brides, grooms, families and models. It's a beautiful location with lots of variety to choose from, like the lake, Mt. Timpanogos, a wooden fence, a river, pine trees, Aspen trees, a bridge, and much more. It is one of my favorite places to take pictures,
Today there was hardly anybody there. Yes, it was a weekday, but it was a little colder than usual for this time of year so it may have scared some people away. All the better for us! Tava & William looked amazing in their wedding clothes. William was in a black almost velvet looking suit with a burgundy vest showing. Tava in a beautiful intricately designed lacey dress with a long flowing veil.
Veils have never been my favorite to work with. They frequently come off, get tangled in a brides hair, or just sometimes don't match the dress the bride is wearing. But Tava's was amazingly beautiful and actually added to the beauty of her dress.
One of my favorite shots was when Tava put on her heavy coat and was standing in the wind with a beautiful smile on her face when William turned around and took a picture of her with his cell phone. So I got the picture of him taking the picture.
