Spring Antelope Island Bride & Groom Session with Jess & Austin
What can I say about the March Antelope Island Bride & Groom Session with Jess & Austin? Perfect! Perfect weather, perfect couple, and no bugs!
Spring is finally here and I am back at the place that started it all for me. My first engagement session was at antelope Island, one of the most beautiful places in Utah no matter what time of year you are here. I have done about 80 photo shoots here, and i know the island like the back of my hand. I know what season different locations here look best. I know when to be at each location, and I know when not to be at Antelope island, which in some cases is more important.
There are time when the bugs are terrible. You could get eaten alive by biting flees and mosquitos certain times of the year. But march when the weather is good, is the best time of the year to shoot here. When you get to mid April, you are taking your chances. And then in the fall there are a million neocosa spiders that inhabit the island, making for not great shooting as there are webs everywhere! In the mid summer there are biting flees that can drive you crazy.
But this is March, so no bugs out yet. And the evening skies are beautiful. And today the weather was perfect. Jess and Austin are two of my favorite pictures. About Austin, in the words of the Magnificent 7's Chris Prat, "I think there's a man in that bear suit". Austin is a towering figure of a man. And Jess, a small yet beautiful quiet figure of a woman.
The pictures above are just a very few of my favorites from the March Antelope Island Bride & Groom Session with Jess & Austin. Enjoy!
