The Spring Castle Amphitheater Bridal Session with Ravyn was actually taken in spring, but I have been so busy shooting weddings, bridals and engagements I never got the chance to blog this, so now I'm dedicating my time to catching up this next week before a busy winter season. I kept on saying I was going to start blogging again, but clients always come first, so the blogging was put on hold until now.
There are a hundred nice things I can say about Ravyn, she is beautiful, classy, sophisticated, funny and...yes, nice. As you can tell, she was wearing an amazing dress from Fantasy Bridal. So of course we had to shoot her bridals at a castle! I shot this session at the end of spring, so the grove was out, but there was still some color at the Castle Amphitheater. If you have never been there, its a must see, but wear your hiking shoes, you will definitely need them. From the bottom to the top its about a 6 story climb, lots of stairs.
Ravyn, true to her name, flew right up the steps, even in her beautiful wedding dress, she made it look easy. I already knew this was going to be a fun shoot as I had already shot Ravyn & Josh's engagement in the winter at Sundance. That was an adventure in it self. But this shoot, with some help from her mother & little sister, went a lot easier, and unlike the engagements, we did not freeze.
