Summer Arches National Park Bridal Session with Amber

What a day for a Summer Arches National Park Bridal Session! Whenever you go to Arches National Park you never know what kind of weather you are going to get. And the only weather that works great to get the beautiful colors of the sandstone, is clear sunny weather. I have been to Arches National Park about 50 times, 5 times of which was to take bridal or bride & groom pictures. Of the 5 times, only twice has the weather been like this!
When Amber asked me to do an Arches National Park bridal, I jumped at the chance. But there are risks. Sometimes you get there and it is rainy, or cloudy, or windy, or all three. And if you have driven for 4 hours to have a shoot get cancelled, its not a lot of fun. But today it was beautiful. And sow was the bride.
Amber has an adventurous spirit. You would have to to drive all the way to Moab and put on a wedding dress and climb all over the rocks. Along with Amber came her very helpful mother and her sister dubbed the "deer whisperer" because she was able to get the deer that were roaming around the rocks to come very close to her.
I could have photographed Amber here all day, but I only had a limited amount of time as I had to get back home to do a reception that night, and eventually the clouds started to roll in with the threat of rain.
