Fall Provo City Center Temple Wedding with Emily & Jonathan

by Utah Wedding Photographers James Erick Photography Utah.

The Fall Provo City Center Temple wedding with Emily & Jonathan was so beautiful! Beautiful weather, beautiful Temple, and a beautiful couple. Emily & Jonathan looked radiant as they exited the Temple to an adoring crowd. People were cheering, smiling and hugging. There were tears in some of the parents eyes. Cameras were going off left and right.

Shooting a Fall Provo City Center Temple wedding is a lot of fun, but offers a few challenges. The Temple is made up of a beautiful sandstone colored brick that reflects red in the camera, so a lot of color correction is required. And second, there is only two shootable sides of the Temple due to the lighting. The front and the back. In the front I have had to hurry sometimes because another couple has been right behind my couple. Many times I have shot at the Temple and had to wait for another couple to move off the steps in the back so I could take the family pictures. But today everything was different. Nobody was at the steps in the back when we arrived, and nobody was coming out of the Temple after us as Emily & Jonathan were the last to come out.

Emily & Jonathan were a lot of fun to work with and they and their family's were very nice. We shot at many different locations on the temple grounds, and in most cases the lighting was perfect.
