There is something so peaceful and romantic about an engagement session surrounded by green trees, soft light, and the quiet beauty of the Utah mountains. Paige and Matthew’s engagement session at Big Springs Park in Utah was the perfect example of why this location is such a beautiful choice for couples who want natural, relaxed, and timeless engagement photos.
As Utah Wedding Photographers, we are always looking for locations that feel beautiful without being too distracting, and Big Springs Park was absolutely stunning for this session. Everything was green, fresh, and full of life, creating the perfect backdrop for Paige and Matthew’s engagement pictures.
A Beautiful Green Engagement Session at Big Springs Park
Paige looked beautiful in a white sundress that fit the soft, natural feel of the evening perfectly. Her dress photographed so well against all the green scenery at Big Springs Park. Matthew kept his outfit classic and relaxed with jeans and a white shirt, which complemented Paige’s dress and gave their session a clean, timeless look.
One of my favorite things about this engagement session was how simple and natural everything felt. Paige and Matthew were so easy to photograph, and their connection came through in every image. Big Springs Park gave us so many beautiful little areas to work with, from open green spaces to more intimate spots surrounded by trees.
Finding a Small Patch of Yellow Flowers
One of the fun surprises from the evening was finding a small patch of yellow flowers. Even though it was just a little area, it added such a beautiful touch of color to their engagement photos. The yellow flowers looked amazing against Paige’s white dress and helped create some of my favorite images from the session.
As photographers, it is always exciting when we find those little unexpected details that make a session unique. Sometimes it is a field of flowers, sometimes it is beautiful light, and sometimes it is simply a quiet little corner of a park that photographs perfectly.
Taking Photos Until Dark
We continued taking pictures until it started to get dark, which gave Paige and Matthew’s session a soft and romantic ending. Evening sessions can be some of the most beautiful because the light becomes softer, the colors feel richer, and the whole session takes on a peaceful feeling.
Big Springs Park was especially beautiful as the light faded. The green scenery, the quiet surroundings, and Paige and Matthew’s natural chemistry made this such a memorable engagement session.
