There are cold days, and then there are really cold days, but Maryjane & Joseph melted the ice at Tibble fork reservoir today! There warm smiles and fun personalities made this a really amazing photoshoot!
Tibble Fork Reservoir in Winter is a really great shoot location. No matter what type of pictures you are doing, its a great time of year. The snow is beautiful, and the pine trees green, and the mountains in the background perfect! Tibble fork Reservoir in the winter is one of the most popular places to shoot sessions in Utah, be it family, bridals, engagements or other.
But I know some places most photographers don't know. Many people go right off the side of the parking lot to do their pictures, but not me. If you do a photoshoot at Tibble Fork with me, be prepared to walk uphill to the better locations. Did you know there is a bridge crossing the river? I have never seen another photographer there. What about the upper locations with amazing views of the mountains? I have only seen a few photographer there. Why? Because it requires knowledge of when the sun is the best there, and most importantly, it requires a hike up hill, or at least up the road.
Maryjane and Joseph never complained even once. And with my photoshoots, I love variety. The more backgrounds, the better. I gave them over 200 pictures, with one clean edit, and one vintage edit. And because they were willing to brave the cold and the hike, we were able to get some amazing views. I just wish I could post the full resolutions pictures to my blog!
