McPolin Farm Bride and Groom Session
By Utah Wedding Photographers James Erick Photography Utah
Natasha & Travis asked me to shoot a McPolin Farm Bride and groom Session for them last Summer, but I am just now getting around to blogging it. Swaner Farm is beautiful in the summer time, with all the yellow aspen trees in full bloom, and the green grassy fields swaying in the light wind. Its a nice place to shoot a bride and groom session for many reasons, one being that when its 90 degrees in the city and lower mountains, its usually about 74 degrees up here. Another reason is that there are so many trains and backgrounds to choose from, you can do a lot of sessions up here and they wont all look the same. One of my favorite trails goes right through the yellow aspens and winds it way up and won the side of the mountain where it is not uncommon to see deep, elk, and many other types of animals.
I had already shot Natasha and Travis's engagements a few months earlier so I knew they would be a lot of fun to work with. They both looked amazing in there wedding attire, and one of my favorite shots is where they are sitting on a fence in front of the white barn with the american flag in the background. Its almost as if they dressed to match the red, white and blue colors of the flag. Perfect colors for a perfect shoot!
