Millennial Falls Wedding
By Utah Wedding Photographers James Erick Photography Utah
The Millennial Falls Wedding with Kaitlyn & Cody was a lot of fun. I had already shot there engagements at the International Peace Gardens and their bride & groom session at Antelope Island, so I knew this wedding was going to be great.
Lighting at the falls is usually a challenge, as the sun is always coming in at the side, side lighting everybody, which sometimes makes a shadow on the people on the right side from people on the left side. Today was overcast, making the lighting perfect!
During the ceremony, the priest conducting the ceremony said that Kaitlyn has the most amazing smile, and that any time she enters a room, it lights up along with the people in it. I think this describes Kaitlyn exactly. And Cody is a really genuine guy. Kind and caring and willing to do anything to get a great picture or to help out. These two were a marriage made in heaven.
The little kids in the wedding were the icing on the cake. Just before the two little girls went down the isle, the older of the two girls picked up and carried the younger one down the stairs so she wouldn't fall. I have pictures of it but due to the limited number of pictures I can put in a blog, I did not include those pictures.
At the reception, the couple had a lot of fun including a cake smashing contest, that I think Kaitlyn won. Probably Cody did not want to mess up Kaitlyn's amazing dress, but who knows.
