Summer Memory Grove Bridal with Alyssa
by Utah Wedding Photographers James Erick Photography Utah
A Memory Grove Bridal Session is a very beautiful thing. Nestled in a valley to the east of the Utah State Capitol, memory grove has been around for a long time. You can go there almost any evening just before sunset and see 3-4 brides getting their pictures taken. The front part of the park is a dog park, but people tend to let their dogs run wild all over the park so you have to be careful that a dog does not jump on the bride. But what made this session special was the Bride.
Alyssa is not only beautiful, she is nice, kind, and is genuinely a great person. I know her Mother in Law very well. When I moved 6 years ago to Bountiful, she was, and still is, and employee of the Bountiful post office. Every time I would come in with my son, she was always there with a smile and would give him a candy. This mad the post office one of my sons favorite places to visit, and my job a lot easier. And over the years she has become a good friend.
Alyssa was fun and easy to work with. Her smile and serious look were beautiful to film. And her dress, awesome. Barring the mosquitoes that frequent the area, this was a perfect day, with a perfect sunset. Alyssa fit the beautiful scenery and architecture perfectly. If I had 8 hours to shoot this girl I could possible capture all of her expressions but in an hour, we just skimmed the surface. I look forward to meeting her fiance Braydon, and know the wedding will be a lot of fun.
