International Peace Gardens Engagement
International Peace Gardens Engagement with Caitlyn & Cody
by Utah Wedding Photographers JamesErickPhotographyUtah
An International Peace Gardens engagement is always beautiful, no matter what time of year you shoot there. Spring, Summer, winter and Fall all have different backgrounds to shoot and some backgrounds look better at different time of the year, some any time of year. For example, the rose garden looks great in the late part of spring to mid-summer, but not in the winter. The tree by the red bridge looks best in sprint with its purple blossoms, and the dock looks great any time of year. But Spring is always my favorite time of the year here.
The snow is gone, grass is green, and the blossoms on the trees are purple and pink and white. The river has started to flow again and its usually at its highest level on the dock by now. And the funny thing is there is hardly any people here. For most of the year from winter to late spring, the front entrance to the park is closed, so most people don’t come here, but I know of another way of getting in that I will keep a secret today.
Oh, and did I mention that Cody & Caitlyn are engaged? Caitlyn has one of the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen. I think she could sell ice cubes to an Alaskan if she wanted. And Cody has a rugged serious look to him that’s makes this couple go together perfectly. Cody & Caitlyn brought props today, a clanked and a picnic basket. Props can always add to a shoot, especially when they go with the theme of what you are trying to shoot. so, for example, a picnic in the park.
