Silver Lake in Brighton

Silver Lake in Brighton can be a beautiful location for engagements and bridals. The wildflowers com out usually between Mid June and start fading Mid July, depending on rainfall in any given year. After mid July, the lake starts to get swampy, and does not look as nice.

You don't actually see a lot of pictures of the lake as the best locations to shoot (against the sun) are not elevated high enough to get the lake in the background. If you go around to the other side where there is elevation, you are in the shade of the mountain and the lake will be lit up, which is not great lighting, but on that side is where you can get some great wildflower pictures.
