Buffalo Peak Top

The top of Buffalo Peak in Provo Canyon is a very unique location. Its a beautiful field of yellow wildflowers on the top of a hill surrounded by mountains. The yellow wild flowers have a very short growing season, and sometimes don't come out at all in drought years, or in years when the snow lasts until May. The close up on cloudy days, and open up on sunny days, or partially sunny days(the best for taking pictures), so this area can look different from day to day. Parking is on the side of a narrow dirt road, and its a 8 minute trail hick up the hill to the top of the mountain to get the amazing views.
